To all the wonderful campers and their families:

A camp summer: 2 months, 8 weeks, 40 days, 960 hours, 57,600 minutes and so on… but no matter how you measure it, a camper’s time at camp isn’t something you can truly measure. Camp happens in all kinds of moments; big and small. Big moments like the carnival, or color war, Israel day or a silly dress-up day. Those days when a camper comes to camp and says, “WOW!” at a big surprise we have in store. Small moments like a counselor holding a campers hand walking to and from activities. When a camper offers to trade their popsicle with another camper, because their friend likes the flavor they got better. When a specialist realizes that their activity is a camper’s favorite thing to do at camp. When a camper learns to dive, or earns their first opportunity to go down the waterslide. All of these moments and more are what make Camp Milldale so special, so magical, and such an important part of growing up.

The Camp Milldale family of staff has loved having our campers for these eight weeks. We will miss camp and especially our campers. Over the school year, take the time to come back and visit great camp memories – look at the pictures on the website, wear the camp t-shirt, make plans with a new friend they met at camp. Take all the wonderful camp moments – the big ones and the small ones and remind your campers of the fun they had, and all of the fun they will have…NEXT SUMMER!!

Thank you for every wonderful moment this summer, and thank you for all of the wonderful camp moments to come,

Dori
Director, Camp Milldale

P.S. Please keep an eye on your e-mail- we'll be sending out a survey so we can get your feedback about the summer.
