Israel Day
A highlight of the summer is always Israel Day and this year our Shlichim outdid themselves with tahina making, a western wall, face painting, dance, scenic photo-shoots, Israeli games and so much more. We ended the day with a human flag of Israel!
Arts Camp 2009 Show and Play
At the end of the summer, Arts Camp put on an amazing performance and then we got to view some of the spectacular projects they made. We also gave out some awards to campers who have been at Milldale the longest.

Week 7 - Health Week
We had an amazing kickoff to health week as Melinda from Health and Fitness at the JCC came and treated us to an early morning flagpole workout followed by great fitness classes for all the bunks. We also had water aerobics by Sue in aquatics.
Carnival 2009
The CITs sure do put on a great carnival. From face painting to dance party to pie throwing to the duck hunt everyone had a great time. OOPS, almost forgot the amazing inflatables!
Week 6 Was Awesome
Week 6 was truly amazing and that was even before the carnival. We loved Chocolate Milk Day! Check out the fun!
More Color War
By now you know that the BLUE team won Color War. Here are some more pics of all the fun we had.
Maccabiah/Color War Break
So we gathered for an all camp picture and then right after that we noticed a low flying airplane overhead. When it started to drop blue and green papers around Camp Milldale we all figured out that Color War/ Maccabiah had started!
Week 5 - Oriole Bird Visit
Black and Orange dress up day turned into something very exciting as the Oriole Bird helped David with a cheer and then with to visit all the bunks and even play tennis-baseball with sports camp!
Amazing Friday-Amazing Race
This week ended with a demo by the Hip Hop Chug at flagpole and then was topped off by an Amazing Race- Milldale style
All Camp Kesher
Parents joined their campers for camp "kef" fun! Look at the pics and relive the fun.
Chugim and Arts Camp
Week 4 brings some exciting chugim such as Hip Hop Marching Band with Danean Cameron! Arts Camp also is making paper and other amazing projects. Check it out here.
Lollipop Ruach Day
Week 4 started out with lollipop Ruach Day where each bunk came to the offices, performed a cheer and then got, you guessed it, lollipops! Some even won prizes if the bottom of the lollipop was marked. We also celebrated Lara's birthday!
End of Week 3
The end of week 3 was so much fun with great Shabbat stations where we crawled like snakes in the grass, learned about composting, wrote "mitzvah leaves" for our Mitzvah tree and enjoyed challah and grape juice for Shabbat.
Messy Monday and Wednesday
We had a great time at the beginning of week 3. We got a bit messy but after we cleaned up, we settled into a great week. Check out these pictures.
Week 2 -Red White and Blue
We ended off week 2 with Red, White and Blue day and an amazing visit from a real Ice cream Truck and everyone got Ice Cream! Enjoy the pictures!
