Counselor-in-Training

For teens entering grades 9 & 10

For high school teens interested in learning how to be great counselors and effective leaders while earning community service hours. This program includes: assisting with daily bunk activities and involvement in large scale camp events, weekly leadership development training and team-building, field trips during each four-week session, and time to hang out with friends.

Upon receipt of registration, two reference forms and a short essay form will be mailed to applicants. Participants must attend a mandatory teen/parent orientation in the spring and an orientation prior to camp.

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required. Family must be JCC members at time of application and maintain membership through the end of the camp season to receive the member rate. To qualify for the Early Bird rate, your application must be received by February 26, 2010.
